Control Panel → Programs and Features → HelixFTR Player → Uninstall. Then manually delete %APPDATA%\HelixFTR to remove saved preferences.
HelixFTR (sometimes stylized as HelixFTR Player) is an open-source fork of the classic Helix DNA player. It integrates modern codecs (H.265, VP9, AV1), advanced subtitle rendering, and network streaming protocols (HLS, RTMP, SMB). Unlike bloated commercial players, HelixFTR is lightweight, privacy-focused, and does not bundle adware.
